Our Veterinary Services
A Full Service Veterinary Animal Hospital
We have been serving clients and their pets near since 1972. Your pet's well-being is always our top priority.
Cat and Dog Check-Ups
Your pet’s health is our priority. For adults, a once yearly nose to tail examination is the best way to evaluate your pet’s health. Puppies and kittens need regular examinations as they grow, along with preventative immunizations and parasite prevention, to reach their optimal health. Vaccine recommendations, flea, tick and heartworm prevention recommendations, nutritional and dental evaluations, and laboratory testing recommendations are all a part of wellness visits.
Behavior Appointments
Our pets are important members of our families, but sometimes their behaviors can be confusing and even problematic. If behavioral concerns go unaddressed, they can lead to real behavior problems that can effect your pet’s health. Behavioral evaluations can be done in person or via telemedicine.
Pet Grooming
Our grooming services are the best around, and by appointment only. Our groomer provides bathing, nail trims, anal gland expressions, medicated baths, flea and tick baths, breed specific hair cuts, and deskunking treatments.
The Vaccines for Life Program
As a part of our dedication to your pet’s health, we offer a one-time purchase vaccine program that will include all of your pet's core vaccinations for life, and discounted non-core vaccinations. We require that your pet have an annual examination every year to maintain enrollment. The program is non-transferrable and non-refundable after purchase.
Veterinary Acupuncture
Help your pet live their best life with our eastern medicine and acupuncture services. An initial consultation will include the evaluation of your pet’s needs and help you better understand the role acupuncture and herbal medication can have in your pet’s treatment plan.
Tech Appointment
Our team of highly trained, caring veterinary technicians provide a variety of outpatient services under the supervision of our veterinarians. Anal gland expression, nail trims, and vaccine booster appointments are just a part of services provided by these team members. Your pet must be an established patient in order to schedule a technician appointment for your pet.
Dental Care
Oral health and oral disease plays a big role in our pets over health and quality of life. We offer state of the art dentistry services for your pet including ultrasonic scaling and charting, dental xrays, infection control and pain management, tailored anesthesia for your pet, and comprehensive anesthetic monitoring.
Emergency Vet
Although scheduled appointments are the most common way of seeing your pet, we understand pets don’t know that, and illness can start suddenly. We reserve a small number of urgent care appointments per day for our established clients, and if those times do not work for your pet, we offer emergency and drop off appointments for an additional fee.
Whether your pet needs a routine dog check-up, a kitten check-up, or urgent care for unexpected issues, we are committed to providing high-quality care at our affordable animal hospital.
End of Life Services
We view our role in your pet’s passing as one of our most important. We offer quality of life appointments to help counsel you and your family on end of life needs to make sure your pet is as comfortable as they can be. We will go over the euthanasia process with you in depth, as well as make sure your wishes for their remains are clear. We offer private cremation through Final Gift in Middleborough with a variety of urns.
“We’ve been taking our cats here since they adopted us. One visit and we knew this was the best place, even if it is 30 minutes away from our house. The doctors and staff here are top notch and you couldn’t ask for better care for your furbabies.”
